All-Inclusive Fishing Package

With our all-inclusive package the only thing you need to do is relax and enjoy the expertise of our staff taking care of your every need.  Whether you seek a guided ocean, river or combination trip, our staff will be on hand to ensure your customized fishing experience is tailored to your needs.

Our ocean boats are all 24-26' vessels powered by reliable 4-stroke motors and kickers. Boats are equipped with state of the art navigational and fish finding electronics, and outfitted with all of the poles, bait and tackle needed for a day of fantastic fishing. Owner and captain Jeff Larson has twenty years of fishing experience on the ocean waters of western Prince of Wales Island.   His primary concern is that you have a fantastic fishing experience.  Whether first time angler or seasoned veteran, he will take you to where the fish are biting and give you tips to land king, silvers and bottom-fish all day long.  We provide boots and foul weather gear to keep you warm and dry.  At the end of the day your catch will be filleted, vacuum packed, frozen and boxed to airline specifications for your trip home.

Prince of Wales Island has a number of rivers with strong runs of steelhead, salmon and trout throughout the spring and summer.  Each guest is provided waders and boots as well as a spinning rod and gear.  Fly rods are not provided but guests can bring along their own fly rod if they choose.  Our river guides will take you to one or more of the streams each day, depending on where the fish are biting. Stream fishing does require a short to moderate walk to get to the best holes.

We offer the kind of local Alaskan cuisine that will leave you asking for recipes. In addition, we are happy to cater to your dietary needs including low-fat, low-carb, gluten-free, vegan or whatever you preference. We'll also let you know of the upcoming menu in order to best accommodate your preferences and make changes as needed. All meals are set family style allowing you to take as much of each food as you like.  Seconds are considered complimentary to the cook.  All meals include an appetizer, salad, entrée with sides and dessert. Examples include: fresh steamed Dungeness crab, T-bone steak, twice backed potato and cheese cake; and crab-stuffed shrimp, seafood lasagna, grilled asparagus and key lime pie, all homemade of course!  You are invited to bring wine, beer or other alcoholic beverages to dinner.  We offer various soft drinks, coffee, milk, juice and water with every meal.

Breakfast is served up hot every morning with plenty of freshly ground French roast coffee.  You will enjoy French toast, bacon & eggs, and buttermilk pancakes (made from scratch of course) to name a few. After a short stop at the lunch bar and you are ready to head to the boat or river for a day of fishing.

Your group of up to 4 people will occupy either the A-Frame cedar cabin or the beautiful waterfront apartment. Utilizing both dwellings can accommodate groups of up to 8 people.  Each unit is exquisitely furnished, has satellite TV, two bedrooms and all the amenities to make you feel like you are at home. Both accommodations are very private with their own entrance; large picture windows and spacious decks bring the outdoors to you.  Deer wander the proper and bear can frequently be seen across the bay feeding on grass.

For meals you will come into the main lodge, a beautiful log structure with a homey feel.  You also have access to a small fitness area and basketball hoop.  The waterfront location allows for after dinner walks along the shoreline or enjoying the sunset from the swing on the back deck.

You will arrive at Ketchikan International Airport (KIA) by jet. The all-inclusive package price includes round trip transportation by small plane from KIA to Klawock Airport, a short thirty-minute scenic flight.  We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to the lodge just fifteen minutes away. Once at the lodge you will have the keys to the 4x4 vehicle for the rest of your stay for shopping, sight-seeing or cultural attractions such as Totem Pole Park or the Carving Shed. You will also drive to and from the boat, parked at the city dock, five miles away in Klawock.
